The Company was founded in 2016 by Mike Mullen (former CEO at CenterPoint Properties), Brian Townsend (former Senior Vice President at CenterPoint Properties), Jim Linn (former Senior Vice President at CenterPoint Properties) and Andrew Houston (former Vice President at Cushman and Wakefield). The Founding Partners have an average of over 30 years of experience in the industrial real estate industry serving in various capacities across multiple cycles.

In 2017, the Company formed a strategic partnership with The Blackstone Group targeting industrial opportunities in the United States. That year, Talos acquired 27 million square feet across 12 states totaling over $2 billion of total capitalization. Since the beginning of the year, the investment team has doubled in size with additions to support the Company’s sourcing, underwriting and execution capabilities.
