Mike Mullen


Mike is a founding partner and retired CEO of CenterPoint Properties acquired by CalPERS in 2006. He also served on the Board of Directors and was Senior Advisor on IndCor Properties, a Blackstone portfolio company sold in 2015. Additionally, he served on the Board of Rouse Properties, until it was taken private by Brookfield Properties in 2016. Mike currently acts as a Senior Advisor to Redwood Capital Investments, L3 Capital, Trade Point Atlantic and GEM Realty Capital.

Brian Townsend

Chief Executive Officer

Brian is a Founding Partner of Talos Capital and has been in the industrial real estate market for over 25 years.  Noted for completing transactions totaling 100 million square feet and valued at over $7 billion.  Brian spent eleven years with CenterPoint Properties, most recently Senior Vice President, East Coast Investments, where he led the company’s New Jersey and Eastern US expansion. In four years, Brian created CenterPoint’s East Coast footprint from an idea to a total portfolio of 4.5 million square feet, with an estimated value of $400 million. Brian began his CenterPoint tenure focused on Chicago market, before being appointed to lead the firm’s national expansion efforts.  Prior to CenterPoint, Brian worked for Duke Realty and CBRE/Frain, Camins & Swartchild.  Brian is a member of NAIOP Chicago and serves on the organization’s current NAIOP Forum – Industrial Acquisitions II as Chairman. Mr. Townsend received his Bachelor of Art degree as a graduate of Lake Forest College.

Andrew Houston

President, East Coast

Andrew is a Founding Partner of Talos Capital. Prior to Talos Capital Andrew was a vice president of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tri-State Capital Markets Team with over 11 years experience in industrial real estate.  Andrew’s family has been in real estate development and brokerage since arriving in the United States four generations ago.  In addition to his work at Cushman & Wakefield, Andrew is the managing principal of Houston Investments, an owner and developer of industrial real estate. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Andrew was a vice president and principal in Cassidy Turley’s New York office specializing in industrial sales. Andrew started his career at Cassidy Turley’s Northern New Jersey Industrial project leasing group. Over Andrew’s career he has successfully completed over 140 transactions totaling just under 10 million square feet and valued at over $450 million. Andrew received his MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Real Estate from the Leonard M Stern School of Business at New York University. Andrew also received a Master’s Degree with distinction in Real Estate Finance from New York University’ Schack Institute of Real Estate.
